Achieve Bladder Control Naturally

I wanted to talk to you about how you can achieve bladder control naturally. There are a lot of people, as they get older, that lose a lot of control associated with their bladder. That's not to say you're going to urinate in your bed, it just means you feel like going all the time. It's not a feeling that progressively grows, but will hit you really fast and you'll just have to go bad. As you get older your muscles and your body just get weaker. It's part of life, but when it comes to control of your bladder you can always get it back. I want to talk to you about how you can achieve bladder control naturally. The urinary process has a simple design that is actually quite powerful. The bladder is purposely elevated with a tube on the bottom of it that leads the urine out of the body. It's sort of like the bags they hook up to your body when you're in the hospital. The idea is that gravity will pull the liquid down, so that means there is absolutely no work required to move it. This tube has a muscle that wraps around it and squeezes it. That is where control comes from and if you're lacking it, than the muscle isn't doing its job. If you want to achieve bladder control naturally than I have a simple exercise you can do. Squeezing your butt together will cause you to feel a muscle around your bladder squeeze. That's the one that provides control. You should try working this like a workout every other day to strengthen it. You can also take a supplement designed to stimulate bladder control internally.

Take her to the doctor! They can get very, very serious.
  • wittyteacup says Peace!! replied on Sun, 30 Nov, 2008
She needs to see the Dr, ASAP. In the meantime give her cranberry juice and water to drink. They help flush out the Urinary Tract.

She sould still go the doc., but I here that cranberry juice is suppsoe to help.

Home Remidies for a UTI? Are you NUTS? She needs to be seen by a doctor, a urinalysis done and a course of anti biotics started right away. It wont go away any other way. And if left alone, will only get worse.. GET HER TO A DOC Edit: Cranberry Juice will help, but only along with an antibiotic

the "private area" has a name, it is a body part it is called the VAGINA, it's not a dirty word. (Makes me wonder what you would call an arm or a leg). It could be a uti, could be a yeast infection (yes even virgins get them) could be her underwear is too small. It could be anything. You might want to take her to the doctor and find out what it is...and if it is another uti you might ask the doctor what is causing her to have so many of them.

    Doctor, Cranberry Juice, and Blueberries!
  • Lauren replied on Sun, 30 Nov, 2008
I had these when I was her age, the doctors said I had a short urethra and that I would grow out of it. I had them frequently for a while (again, around 8), and then I just stopped having them and haven't had one since my urethra "growing" (or whatever the problem was). The only thing you can really do is take her to the doctors for antibiotics, since those are the only things that actually treat the infection. It won't get better on its own, and cranberry juice does not help during the course of an infection (as any doc will tell you).

Drink a lot of fluids to flush out the bacteria in the body(water and cranberry juice) . Also a warm heating pad on the lower stomach could help.
  • yvonnechoi12 replied on Sun, 30 Nov, 2008
The answer is, you should check with your doctor. There are medications, even over the counter pills, but you really shouldn't give anything to a child without checking with your doctor first. Also, I'm assuming you're getting antibiotics every time she has a UTI because they can be deadly and it's the only way to treat them.
  • Em replied on Sun, 30 Nov, 2008
If she gets them a lot she will need to be looked at, but I'm guessing thats in hand. In the meantime do you have a health food shop or Neals Yard nearby? If you ask their advice, or by a herbal infusion called 'marshmallow tea' it can help. (not the sweeties marshmallow!) Other than that lots of cranberry juice or blueberry juice (they help stop the bacteria from holding onto the cell walls) EDIT - DO NOT use warm pad or hot water bottle in case this is a grumbling appendix pain!
